If you purchased a resource through this site, EarlyChildhoodConnection.net, here are a few tips that can help with printing digital resources.

Zipped Files
First, check to see if your file is a zipped file. Zipped files contain multiple files inside of a large file folder. It’s best to unzip zipped files on a computer…not a phone or tablet.

  • Unzip on Apple Computers: Double click the zipped file. It should automatically unzip. If double clicking does not work, right click the zipped file, choose “open with”, select “archive utility”. The utility will extract all of the files that are located inside of the zipped file. They will be waiting for you in the folder where the zipped file is located. If you are unzipping in the downloads folder, your unzipped file will be there. If you moved the zipped file elsewhere after downloading, check the folder you moved the zipped file to.
  • Unzipping on a PC: Right click the zipped file, choose “extract all”, choose where you want  the file saved, and click “extract”.

Printing PDFs
Make sure to open PDFs in Adobe Reader. This is a free program for Apple computers and PCs. Click here to download the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Once Adobe Reader is installed, open the PDF with Adobe Reader.

  • Right click the PDF and chose “open with Adobe Reader”.

You can read more about refunds and exchanges on the Policy Page. In short, due to the nature of having instant access to digital files, refunds and exchanges are not granted.

  • Clipart Terms of Use can be downloaded from the Policy page.
  • If you have already purchased a clipart set from Early Childhood Connection, the TOU is a PDF file located within your purchased clipart set.

The backgrounds do appear to be black when the images are opened in a photo viewing program, such as Microsoft Photos. However, the backgrounds are not black. I save all of my clipart to have transparent backgrounds so that each piece of clipart can seamlessly blend with any color background being used. Transparent backgrounds in clipart images allow for the layering of an image over other images. For instance, a graphic of an apple may sit on top of a graphic of a handwriting line without blocking any more of the handwriting line than necessary. The image in this section is made up of three separate clipart graphics: handwriting lines, an apple, and the name of my business. I added those graphics to a Canva template with a white background to give the illusion of a piece of handwriting paper.

Each image has a transparent background

Meeeeeeeeee! I built it all by myself after watching about ten thousand YouTube video tutorials. I did invest in a series of video courses to set up the shopping cart, which was a labor of love. All of the icons and graphics in my logos were created by hand in a graphics app on my iPad. I love that everything is 100% mine.
