- Letter Case: Lowercase letters only.

▶️ How to Use:
I use these cards daily in my instruction! Here are a few examples…
- Mystery Sound: Each time I introduce a new sound, the corresponding letter card goes into the “mystery sound box” (a tissue box decorated with colorful paper and question marks). Playing up the new sound builds anticipation and students have a good time predicting what sound it might be.
- Spelling: After students have spelled a word, I quickly build the word on my magnet board for a “quick check”. This provides an opportunity for students to correct errors and gain a stronger skillset.
- Handwriting Directions: I keep each sound card on my whiteboard once the letter has been introduced. This provides me with the support I need to demonstrate proper letter formation.
