Description
🛑 You must open this file in ADOBE to edit the text boxes! 🛑
1. Download the zipped file to your computer.
2. Close all of your internet browsers.
3. Open the file in the desktop version of Adobe (not the browser version) and edit.
4. Print the pages you need on Avery 5160 label sheets.
😃 What text size options do I have?
At this time, there are two font sizes available. The original packet (blue front cover) features a 25 point font. The smaller font packet (green front cover) features a 14 point font, which is perfect for longer names, sight word / skill practice reminders, brag tags, etc. I will consider adding additional size options in the future.
✅ What do I need to get started?
- Adobe. You need Adobe. It needs to be installed on a computer…not an iPad, phone, smart device, etc. (Last time I checked, I was unable to edit PDFs on Chrome-based devices.)
- You will need to download and install the FREE KG Red Hands font in order for the labels to look like the labels in the preview images. The font can be found here.
- Avery 5160 label sheets
- A printer or copy machine
❓ Where do I start typing?
Type student names into the boxes on the start page. It’s labeled “Start Page” with green lettering up top. Type names, symbols, or words in the boxes once, and they will auto-fill throughout the packet. This packet accommodates up to 30 student names/words/numbers/whatever it is you want each box to say.
🖨️ What print options do I have?
You can print a sheet featuring each student in your class. You can also print entire sheets with just one name. I print two entire sheets for each student in my class and keep them in a 3 ring binder to use all year long. This makes labeling classroom items a breeze.
