Thanks for your interest in my Editable Student Portfolio for Preschool and PreK. Simply customize the pages you want to use in PowerPoint to create an amazing scrapbook-style early childhood student portfolio. Each student’s portfolio is sure to knock the socks off of families!

I created this portfolio to use in my own classroom. While teaching for Head Start, I added standards and checkpoints used in TS Gold, which focuses on areas of development (social-emotional, physical, and cognitive) and language development. I have utilized my portfolio template year after year in a variety of preschool & pre-k settings, customizing it to meet the needs of my families and school when needed.

▶️ How to Implement:

This resource gives your the flexibility to to create a binder portfolio that consists of…

• A) purely work samples (evidence of growth),
• B) student work samples with information pages that support the work you do in the classroom, or
• C) a mix of both.

✂️ How to Prep:

• Snap pictures of students in action throughout the school year
• Also take pictures of their work, to use as work samples
• Save student photos in a file (one file per student)
• Once per month, take a few minutes to add pictures to each student’s portfolio (this is done digitally within PowerPoint)
• Print the portfolio at the end of the school year OR save it as a PDF and share the digital file with families

Please note, this is not an assessment packet. Assessment forms are NOT included in this packet. However, there is room to add your district’s assessments inside each portfolio.
