Description
These beginning sounds coloring sheets are perfect for independent centers in the early days of kindergarten, as well as coloring center work in pre-k and transitional kindergarten. If students are in need of additional practice with letter/sound relationships, use the pages as a school-to-home connection piece. Encourage family members to practice the beginning sounds on each coloring page with their student before the student colors the pictures. Practice once more once the page has been colored. There is one coloring sheet per letter of the alphabet.

Grade Level
PreK / TK – Kindergarten
This resource was created with PreK (TK) and kindergarten in mind. I have personally used this product with both grade levels with success. These pages have a wide range of uses. A few ways I have used them are:
- morning work
- small group activity sheets with independent coloring to wrap up the session
- homework packets that were sent home during holiday breaks
- independent workstations (centers)
