Thanks for your interest in my Bulletin Board “I Can” Statements featuring stripes. Simply print them & post throughout your classroom. They also work well in pocket charts & on traveling tri-fold boards! • These cards were created to help families decode and make connections with early learning standards used in most early childhood settings (TS Gold & The Creative Curriculum for Preschool).
• The cards let everyone know what it might look like when standards are met by a child, and the color-coded background for each card helps keep the standards and areas of focus categorized.
• Each card is labeled with a learning standard / TSG checkpoint.

✂️ How to Prep:

• Print and laminate the pages.
• Trim the cards.
• Store in a binder pocket or gallon zipper bag.
• Display and present to students as needed.

▶️ How to Use:

The color-coded background helps keep the standards categorized on bulletin boards and pocket charts. As the year progresses, I swap cards and replace them with our current overarching target(s). When I begin teaching a new target / standard, I make sure to introduce students to the card. We refer back to the card(s) during our mini-lesson for the day. This helps everyone in the room have a clear idea as to what our goals are per lesson.
