Thanks for your interest in my Printable Student Portfolio Scrapbook for Preschool and PreK. Simply print the pages you want to use, add printed images of students in action, add student work samples, and make notes to create an amazing scrapbook-style early childhood student portfolio. Each student’s portfolio is sure to knock the socks off of families!

I created this portfolio to use in my own classroom. While teaching for Head Start, I added standards and checkpoints used in TS Gold, which focuses on areas of development (social-emotional, physical, and cognitive) and language development. I have utilized this portfolio template year after year, in a variety of preschool & pre-k settings, and it has always met the needs of communicating developmental milestones to families.

▶️ How to Implement:

This resource gives your the flexibility to to create a binder portfolio that consists of…

• A) purely work samples (evidence of growth),
• B) student work samples with information pages that support the work you do in the classroom, or
• C) a mix of both.

✂️ How to Prep:

• Snap and print pictures of students in action throughout the school year
• Save student work samples to add to the portfolio
• Save student photos in a file folder (one file per student)
• Once per month, take a few minutes to add pictures / work samples to each student’s portfolio
• Compile all of the pages in a 3-ring binder (page protectors to save the integrity of photos and work samples are optional)
• Present the portfolio to families at the end of the school year

Please note, this is not an assessment packet. Assessment forms are NOT included in this packet. However, there is room to add your district’s assessments inside each portfolio.
