Welcome to the new Early Childhood Connection site! I am so glad you are here. The new site has many improved features, and the one I am most excited about is the addition of a shop! This site is intended to connect early childhood educators, tutors, and families to developmentally appropriate activities that are necessary when creating high levels of student engagement in the classroom.
Welcome to My New Site
Early Childhood Connection began many years ago. You can read more about the development of ECC, as well as how I got my start in the field of education, on this site’s About page. The page details what drives my creativity in developing early childhood resources. The picture below is a great example of the level of student engagement that can take place in a kindergarten classroom when learning standards, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and high expectations are combined!
Features of the New Site
There are many new ways to connect with me here on Early Childhood connection.
- The header at the top of the site will link you to important sections of the site, including the blog, online shop, TPT store, search capabilities, and FAQ.
- The navigation icons at the top of each site page will help you get the most frequently accessed blog categories. I drew the icons myself!
- The blog is more interactive than ever before. With new ways to search for posts, it is sure to help you find content that will help boost your teaching superpowers!
- The shop is a brand new feature that did not exist on the old blog. I am beyond excited to launch my own shop! (You can’t see it, but I am over here doing a happy dance about this shop feature!) If you are a TPT fan, my resources and clipart are all listed in my TPT store.
- The search bars and filters are new and improved to help you find blog posts and teaching resources. Search bars are located at the top and bottom of every site page. Type in whatever it is you are looking for and click the arrow.
- FREE resources are added to the shop regularly, and I would love for them to be used in your classroom. Here are a few of my favorites to get you started…
